Speaking at Skeptics on the Fringe

Being an efficient skeptical activist is not just about applying the critical thinking apparatus to new information and one's own beliefs. It is also about being able to effectively communicate with those who employ very different thinking patterns from our own. And sometimes that means to lock up our inner skeptic and put ourselves in the shoes of believers.  I am going to talk about my experiences with visiting various religious groups, the methods I use to reason with them within their system of logic, and what I have learned from them that has made me a better skeptic.
